Two more people have been arrested related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later released.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - which police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
